Woodforest National Bank Donates an Additional $2 Million to the Woodforest Charitable Foundation.

Woodforest National Bank has recently provided a $2 million contribution to The Woodforest Charitable Foundation.

The Woodforest Charitable Foundation was created by Woodforest National Bank in 2005, in celebration of the bank’s 25th anniversary, as a direct result of its desire to support and invest in the communities in which it serves.  The Foundation has created a legacy of commitment to those in need and enriching their lives and communities by providing funding to qualifying 501(c)(3) charities.

Local examples of such charities that have benefited from The Woodforest Charitable Foundation include the Montgomery County Women’s Shelter, Interfaith of The Woodlands, Habitat for Humanity, New Community Alliance, The Friendship Center, Montgomery County Food Bank, The Community Clinic, and the Montgomery County YMCA.
