Conroe, TX - On a continual basis Woodforest National Bank employees perform a multitude of fundraising events benefitting Woodforest Charitable Foundation. Both Woodforest National Bank and Woodforest Charitable Foundation are committed to making a ppsitive impact in the communities that Woodforest serves. This partnership benefits the community and organizations such as Family Promise of Montgomery County, which recently received $10,000 donation, from the Woodforest Charitable Foundation.

Family Promise of Montgomery County is a 501 (c) (3) not for profit organization that was founded in 2001. Family Promise is faith based and supports families who are experiencing homelessness as they search for new jobs, undergo job training, and obtain permenant housing. Their mission is to serve homeless families with children by uniting faith communities in a cooperative effort to provide shelter, meals, transportation and other compassionate assistance leading to independence.
