Woodforest Charitable Foundation Donates $10,450 to Blue Ridge Area Food Bank
Verona, Virgina - Blue Ridge Area Food Bank (BRAFB) recently received a generous donation of $10,450 from the Woodforest Charitable Foundation and Woodforest National Bank.
The mission of Blue Ridge Area Food Bank is to reduce hunger through programs and partnerships which efficiently obtain and distribute nutritious food and other products to people in need. BRAFB ensures that people are food secure by providing two to three meals a day, year round. “The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank is incredibly grateful for the remarkable leadership of Woodforest National Bank in the fight against hunger,” stated Peter Kolbe, Chief Development officer of Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. “The kindness of Woodforest and its employees will allow us to provide thousands of meals to the most vulnerable of our neighbors.”
